VCC Meet Report
Benji DeMotte
Congratulations to all of our swimmers who swam in the 2024 VCC Grand Prix meet this past weekend. The VCC format is designed to have our swimmers compete in events that may be a little outside of their comfort zone, especially those swimmers who will soon age up into longer events.
A special congratulations to Savannah Copa-Brzozowski, Owen Akard, Jack Calhoun and Maya Foerster who all set new team records. Congratulations as well to Matthew Amodio who achieved two NCSA cuts in the same race. His 1,000 split and his final time in the 1,650 Free were both qualifying times.
As always, a huge "Thanks!" goes out to the coaches, offifials and parent volunteers who all worked together to put on yet another great event.
