Excel at Open Water Nationals
Congratulations to our 4 Open Water National swimmers who just returned from Sarasota where they competed in a couple of different distances. We started the weekend off with Campbell Johnson who finished 16th in the boys 5k race with a time of 1:02:12. Up next were our two girls competing in the 7.5k, Zara Kocak and Sarah Carrico. Zara ended up 11th with a 1:44:13 and Sarah 31st with a 1:50:30. Finally Zaki Ibrahim swam the 7.5k race in a time of 1:46.39 which earned him 29th. Up next for our Open Water team, the Zone meet later in the month when we'll send 4 more swimmers to Ft. Meyers Florida to compete for the Southeastern LSC.
