Excel Swimmers at Swim Strong Dryland Camp

This past week, we had three of our senior swimmers travel up to Fishers Indiana to attend the SwimStrong Dryland Camp. Sarah Carrico, Samuel Martin and Zaki Ibrahim spent five days with 80 other swimmers from across the country spending time in the classroom, gym and in the pool. 

Additionally, college coaches from 17 different schools were on site and available to all the swimmers.

The camp concluded with a short course meet where each swimmer swam a couple of events to implement everything that they picked up during their time together.

At the end of the camp, one female and one male swimmer was awarded the prestigious Porter LeVasseur Leadership award named after our very own Coach Porter!

Our three swimmers all had fun, learned a lot and walked away with new friends.
