Congratulations to all our swimmers who were in Evansville, IN this weekend. This fun dual meet format gave us an early season look at an out-of-conference powerhouse team in the CSP Tideriders. While we had a small group there, they looked very competitive and fast. A special Congratulations goes out to our 3 individual High Point Winners: Emily & Abigail Georgieva and Harper Grant! A small note- many of the entry times were inadvertantly converted to seed times that were actually faster than they should have been. Therefore, a quick...

Congratulations to the small group of swimmers that traveled to Memphis this past weekend to compete in the Memphis Tiger Classic. While we only had 27 swimmers there, they made their presence known! Congratulations to the 11 different swimmers who won individual events. A special thanks goes out to our coaching staff and our parent volunteers who worked a couple of long sessions to help put on this great meet! Here at Excel, we get to spend a lot of time bragging on our swimmers. But every now and again, we also get to do the same for our coaches. This weekend, Excel Alum and current Coach McKenna Morello raced in her very first Ironman event at the Augusta 70.3. While McKenna's first sport has always been swimming, it turns out that she's a really good triathlete as well! As this was her first race, McKenna was learning lots of things on the go. "I ended up getting to the...

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who swam this past weekend in the 2025 September Invite. Just over 100 swimmers made the trip into Nashville to compete against 4 other teams. Our swimmers raced hard and were particularly aggressive early in our races. A big "Thank You" goes out to all of our volunteers who pitched in at an away meet and our coaching staff who all put in a long weekend to help put on this meet for our swimmers. Congratulations to eveyone who swam this past weekend in the 2025 Fall Fest meet. We had over 350 swimmers competing and many of those for the very first time. This meet report is a little light on data because we don't yet have the qualifying times for either the Southeastern Championships or Age Group Sectionals. Once we do, we will have a little more to report on. What we can report on is that Zaki Ibrahim on hit the NCSA cut in the 100 Free and we had an amazing...

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed this last weekend at the 2025 Long Course Southeastern Summer Championships in Huntsville, AL. When the dust settled, Excel was the top team in the total combined score with 3,758 points, 350.5 points ahead of host team Huntsville. This secured our third consecutive long course title and our sixth consecutive Southeastern title. Additionally, our 3,758 points is the most Excel has ever scored at a Long Course championship. Along the way we also won the 10 and under Girls, 10 and under...

This past Friday, NewsChannel 5 ran a feature on two of our Excel Swimmers. Sports reporter Brian McKeegan traveled up to Gallatin to meet with Zara Kocak and Bryce Winzenread. After filming many of our Gallatin swimmers training, Mr McKeegan sat down with Zara and Bryce to interview them. They covered everything from their training schedule to their future dreams. As our sport gets relatively little attention, this type of exposure is really exciting for us all. You can check it out here.

The 2025 Age Group Zone Meet is quickly approaching.
