This past weekend saw Excel swimming in three different meets. First up, the Fred Lamback Para Meet in Cumming, GA where we had Emme Perry and Josh Strachan competing. Not only was this the fastest Fall Fest meet on record, Excel recorded the highest lifetime best races percentage of 82.2% in our history! Congratulations to Excel Aquatics' Southeastern team as they brought home the 2024 Southeastern Summer Champoinships. This marks our 4th consecutive title but it wasn't easy! Pushed to the very end by a strong Huntsville Swim Assoiciation team, our swimmers managed to build up a 70 point buffer by the end of finals on Sunday to secure the win. While most of us swam only in the 2024 USA Swimming Spring Cup, one swimmers, Zaki Ibrahim, also traveled across the state to Sarasota where he also competed in the Open Water Junior National Meet.
