As always, a huge "Thank You" to all our parent volutneers and especially our officials who spent a very long weekend on the pool deck to bring this event to life...

Excel Coaches Going the Extra Mile for Safety! USA Swimming requires that all registered Swimming Coaches must hold at least a “Safety for Swim Coaches” certification. This class is a watered down version of lifeguard training and while it assures that coaches are aware of the basics in rescue techniques, it is not as extensive as lifeguard training, nor would it make coaches eligible for hire as a lifeguard. This past weekend, our Brentwood coaches (and one of our officials) took their attention to safety one step further as ALL...

As we celebrate our historic first Triple Crown of Championships, we need to pause to reflect what this means for our program. The term “Triple Crown” is used across sports and always to reflect an accomplishment higher than simply being a one-time champion. In cycling, it refers to winning the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France and the UCI Road World Championships Road Race in the same season. In 1999-2000 the University of Arkansas Men’s Track & Field programs became the first SEC team to ever to win the Triple...

The Excel Aquatics program and three of our swimmers were recently featured in an article in the Tennessean published on November 27th. It featured Gavin Fu, Callum Farneth, and Charlie Turner since those swimmers won every event they swam at the recent TNAQ meet. We are so proud to have had our team and swimmers featured in this article. It's a short read, so enjoy.

Checking in with Coach Steven and our High Performance Team In the Spring of 2021, Coach Steven created a High Performance Team at Excel specifically to focus on our elite swimmers and their pursuit of national competitions. Although our club has a long history of elite swimming, he felt that due to recent growth in both numbers and performance at the age group level, it was time to create a group that extends across all sites, but is specifically for those swimmers who have already achieved a national time standard....
